Interchangeable Heating Units

All Mission Ready carts are equipped with a snap-in heating system that can be removed for cleaning or swapped with a backup heater to eliminate downtime — a critical advantage in high-volume correctional food service environments.

Carts can also convert to insulated ambient configuration by replacing the heater with an insulated back panel, giving facilities flexibility across different meal delivery programs.

A removable heater cart uses a self-contained heating unit that snaps in and out of the cart body without the need of any tools. JonesZylon's Mission Ready line features this design, making it easy to remove the heater for thorough cleaning or swap it with a backup to eliminate downtime. The heater can also be replaced with an insulated insert when heat isn't needed.

With Mission Ready carts, the heating unit is removable and interchangeable. If a heater fails, staff can snap in a backup and keep serving while the original is repaired. The heaters use non-proprietary parts, so your maintenance team can fix them in-house. We also offer Uptime Maintenance Kits that include the most commonly replaced parts so you always have backups on hand.

Yes. Mission Ready spare heaters are interchangeable across the entire Mission Ready cart line. A single backup heater can serve your entire fleet, regardless of which model goes down — so facilities don't need to stock separate spares for each cart size.

Yes. Mission Ready carts can convert from heated to insulated ambient by replacing the snap-in heater with an insulated back panel. This gives facilities the flexibility to run heated or ambient service from the same cart depending on the meal or route, without purchasing separate equipment. The reverse is also true — ambient carts can be upgraded to heated by swapping in snap-in heaters, eliminating the need to buy new carts.
