The Complete Tray & Cart System
ServeSmart is JonesZylon's integrated correctional meal delivery system. SmartTrays and SmartCarts are engineered to work together — self-locking 5-compartment trays precision-sized to stack inside corrections-grade stainless steel carts, maximizing capacity and eliminating the need for individual lids on every tray.
If your facility currently runs insulated trays, ServeSmart typically offers a significant cost advantage over a 3–5 year horizon. Insulated trays average 40–50% annual replacement rates. SmartTrays routinely last 10 years or more. The cart does the insulation work — so you're buying a better product and replacing it far less often.

Every Mission Ready cart features a snap-in heating unit that removes without tools — meaning a failed heater can be swapped out in minutes and the cart stays in service. Mission Ready carts are designed for facilities running tray programs, bulk food delivery, or any operation where the cart itself — not an integrated tray system — is the primary need. Available in compact to extreme duty configurations, in ambient, heated, dual-temp, and refrigerated versions.

Understanding ServeSmart and Mission Ready
Are ServeSmart and Mission Ready the same thing?
Not exactly — but there's significant overlap. ServeSmart is the name for JonesZylon's integrated tray and cart system: SmartTrays and SmartCarts engineered to work together. Mission Ready refers to the removable heater design built into most JonesZylon heated carts. Most heated ServeSmart carts are also Mission Ready carts, meaning you get the integrated tray system and the zero-downtime heater in the same unit.
